As part of the CIG Academy pioneering mission, a significant milestone was reached with the successful organization of a seven-day seminar in Lokossa. This programme, which brought together a dynamic group of young people—most of them students—stood out as one of the most inspiring developments of the period. It not only deepened the spiritual journey of participants but also showcased the growing impact of youth-led missions in West Africa.
Collaboration Between Missionaries and the Lokossa Centre
The seminar was made possible through the close collaboration between the pioneering missionaries of the CIG Academy and the Lokossa Centre. Their united efforts ensured that both the logistical and spiritual aspects of the programme were carefully prepared. The missionaries, full of youthful energy and dedication, worked hand-in-hand with local leaders to create an environment conducive to learning, reflection, and heart-to-heart exchange.

Exploring the Core Teachings
Throughout the seven days, participants were guided step by step through the key contents of the Divine Principle. Sessions introduced the vision of True Parents and the fundamental values of a God-centred life, making clear the relevance of these teachings to the reality of young people today. Discussions were not limited to doctrine alone: they included reflections on the meaning of life, the beauty and responsibility of blessed marriage, and the role of youth as future leaders in society and in God’s providence.

Atmosphere of Exchange and Growth
What set the Lokossa seminar apart was the vibrant atmosphere that developed among the participants. It was not a passive learning experience; rather, it was a journey of discovery where each individual could express themselves, ask questions, and share personal reflections. The missionaries encouraged an interactive style of teaching, allowing young people to take ownership of the ideas being shared. This dynamic approach fostered genuine growth, both intellectually and spiritually.

The Role of the Missionaries
The warmth, dedication, and unshakable commitment of the missionaries left a deep impression on the participants. Their personal testimonies, daily guidance, and constant availability helped create a family-like atmosphere where everyone felt valued and supported. By living alongside the participants for a full week, they demonstrated the essence of a God-centred lifestyle not only in words but through action. This example became one of the strongest lessons of the seminar.
A Memorable and Transformative Experience
By the end of the seven days, participants expressed that they were leaving with renewed clarity about their lives and their future. For many, it was a first encounter with such a profound vision of God and humanity. The seminar planted seeds of faith, hope, and responsibility that are expected to bear fruit in the months to come. Beyond the teachings themselves, the sense of unity and shared purpose that emerged among the group was a powerful testimony to the possibility of building communities rooted in God’s love.
The Lokossa seven-day seminar will be remembered not only as a highlight of the pioneering mission but also as a turning point for many young people who are now determined to walk a path of faith and leadership.
During the seminar, one of the seminar participants, GLELE AGBIDONOUKOUN Maurice, wrote the letter below as an expression of gratitude, encouragement and hope towards the FFPMU.

Translation:
In order to help us, young people, acquire more knowledge about the existence of the universe, the existence of God, how to behave in the world, and to share with us the origin of evil and many other things. They came from the four corners of different countries, thinking of helping their brothers and sisters through seminars to show us some realities.
I take this opportunity to thank our various mentors for all their support, for their teachings. May God continue to grant them this knowledge and this ability, and may we who came also acquire other knowledge.
