On 27 June 2025, the youth and members of the Family Federation for Peace and Unification (FFPMU) in Benin gathered at the national headquarters for a special environmental cleanup initiative. A total of 27 participants came together with one heart and one vision: to care for the environment and create a cleaner, healthier space for both Heaven and humanity.

The project was more than just picking up trash or sweeping the surroundings—it was an expression of the Unificationist life of faith. True Parents have taught us that to love Heavenly Parent is to also love all of creation, because nature is God’s first textbook. By keeping our environment clean, we show gratitude to Heavenly Parent for the beauty of creation and take responsibility as true sons and daughters.

With brooms, rakes, and determination in hand, the participants worked side by side, singing and encouraging each other. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and teamwork, proving that service doesn’t have to feel like a burden—it can be a source of unity and inspiration.

The cleanup also served as a reminder that living for the sake of others starts with small but consistent actions. When we clean our environment, we are not only making the space physically better, but also uplifting the spirit of the community. A clean environment creates room for healthy minds, harmonious relationships, and a culture of respect.

This initiative at the FFPMU headquarters stands as an example of how our movement strives to embody True Parents’ teaching of “One Family Under God.” Through service, we practice true love in action, showing care not only for people but also for the natural world entrusted to us.

We sincerely thank all 27 participants who gave their time and energy for this effort. May this spirit of service continue to spread throughout our neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces, until all of society reflects the culture of heart that Heavenly Parent envisions.
