There are moments in our spiritual journey when Heaven and Earth sync perfectly. That was the case on May 8, 2025, as members gathered at both Katharina Stinard Training Centre and Elubo Centre to mark two powerful occasions — Pentecost Sunday and Mother’s Sunday Service.
The atmosphere was full of expectation, gratitude, and revival as 37 committed members came together to receive the Word, celebrate motherhood, and rekindle the fire of faith.
“Let’s Catch the Spirit of Pentecost”
The message of the day was delivered with clarity and deep conviction by Mrs. Martha Whyte, our Vice National Leader. Speaking on the topic “Let’s Catch the Spirit of Pentecost,” she invited members to not just reflect on the miracle of Pentecost, but to personally experience it.

Her sermon reminded us that Pentecost wasn’t just a historical event — it’s a spiritual inheritance that still burns today, if only we’re willing to receive it.
“The Holy Spirit is not history. It’s a power, a presence, a person — and today, we must be open to letting it move in our lives again.” — Mrs. Martha Whyte
Her words stirred something deep. As she spoke, hearts were moved, tears were shed, and a quiet fire began to stir within each person present.

The Mothers of Faith: Honoring the Pillars of Our Movement
On top of the spiritual empowerment, the service also shined a spotlight on the mothers in our community. Each woman present was honored — not just for their roles in their families, but for their sacrificial love, spiritual leadership, and their role in birthing the next generation of Cheon Il Guk citizens.
It wasn’t just celebration; it was recognition — that behind every strong movement is a generation of mothers who pray, guide, serve, and love.

A Double Anointing
To have Pentecost and Mother’s Sunday fall on the same day wasn’t a coincidence — it was a divine alignment. This dual celebration ignited something fresh in our members. It was both fire and comfort, challenge and encouragement, spirit and love.
And even though it was just 37 of us in attendance, the spiritual weight of the service left a lasting impression that will ripple through homes, mission sites, and future sermons to come.
Let us continue to catch the fire, to honor the mothers, and to be a community where the Holy Spirit is always welcome to move.
