UPF Ghana successfully launched its 100-Day Harmony and Hope Campaign at KNUST on October 31, 2025, in conjunction with the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations.

On October 31, 2025, UPF Ghana officially launched its 100-Day Harmony and Hope Campaign at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), bringing together 110 participants, including students, community leaders, peace advocates, and distinguished guests.

The event was organized as part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, highlighting the shared commitment of UPF and the international community to promoting peace, unity, cooperation, and sustainable development.

A major highlight of the program was the conferment of the Ambassador for Peace Award on more than 30 distinguished Ghanaian peacebuilders in recognition of their outstanding contributions to peacebuilding, community development, conflict resolution, and social transformation. The award recipients were celebrated for their dedication to fostering harmony and inspiring positive change within their communities and across Ghana.

Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership, interfaith dialogue, and civic responsibility in addressing contemporary societal challenges. Participants were encouraged to actively support the goals of the Harmony and Hope Campaign by becoming agents of peace and promoting mutual understanding within their spheres of influence.

The successful launch marked the beginning of a 100-day journey aimed at strengthening peace initiatives, inspiring hope, and building stronger communities throughout Ghana.
