As part of our witnessing activities in Kumasi, we visited the home of a member who had recently lost her husband and was preparing for his Seonghwa Ceremony. During the visit, we were joined by a prophetess who had been offering prayers for the deceased before his transition to the spiritual world.

The gathering provided an opportunity to share about the meaning and significance of the Seonghwa Ceremony. The prophetess was deeply moved by the ceremony and the teachings shared during our fellowship. After witnessing the ceremony, she invited me to pray for her and expressed a sincere desire to learn more about our faith.

Most notably, she requested to study the Divine Principle, opening the door for continued spiritual guidance and education. This encounter demonstrated how moments of compassion and service can become opportunities for witnessing and sharing God’s truth with others.

Although the photographs taken during the visit were not very clear due to the approaching rain, the experience itself was meaningful and fruitful. We are grateful for this new connection and look forward to supporting her journey of learning and spiritual growth.

We pray that this relationship will continue to develop and bear positive fruits for God’s providence in the region.
