In a dynamic effort to address the challenges faced by women and highlight their pivotal roles within families and society, the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWPU) organized an Awareness Conference on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Adidogome.Under the theme “The Role of the Housewife,” the conference, hosted by the WFWPU President with assistance from Mme Roukya, engaged 12 participants in a meaningful dialogue. The primary purpose was to foster an environment conducive to witnessing, emphasizing the importance of placing God at the center of every aspect of women’s lives within their homes.
The conference delved into the intricacies of women’s experiences, addressing challenges within families and various associations. It underscored the multifaceted roles that women play as wives, mothers, and educators. Central to the discussions were initiatives like the Mother Heart Network for Peace, focusing on supporting and educating women, young girls, and couples to contribute to the construction of harmonious families.
This impactful conference not only raised awareness but also provided a platform for women to explore their vital roles in creating environments rooted in spiritual values. The WFWPU continues to be a beacon for empowering women and promoting the building of nurturing, God-centered homes.
