In a spirit of unity and harmony, Togo welcomed a new cohort of Ambassadors for Peace during nomination ceremonies held on February 18 and 21, 2024, in Lomé. Hosted at the headquarters of the Churches of Celestial Christianity in NOVISSI and the town hall of Maire Golfe 5, the ceremonies marked a significant milestone in the nation’s journey towards peace and reconciliation.
Led by the President of the Ambassadors for Peace, Rev. Pastor ATTIOGBE Afanou Amos, and facilitated by the UPF Secretary General , AMO-TEYEHEWA Esshanam, the events commenced with opening remarks that set the tone for the day’s proceedings. Participants were introduced to the vision, mission, and reorganization of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), underscoring the importance of collective efforts in fostering peace within communities.
