From February 21 to 23, 2025, Nigeria participated in the 3-Day APWW Cheon Il Guk Regional Youth Convocation, joining other nations across Africa in this transformative event. The program was followed from three designated centers in Nigeria: Abuja, with 22 youths in attendance; Ogun State, with 5 youths; and Uyo Centre in Akwa Ibom State, where 5 youths joined via Zoom.
The convocation featured a variety of meaningful activities, including Hoondokhae readings, Chambumo Gyeong lectures delivered by HJ Top Gun missionaries, and a Cheon Shim Won lecture by Rev. Steve Sakuwa, Cheonbo President of the West Africa Branch. Participants also engaged in writing resolution letters to True Mother, Shimjung services, and team sharing moments, fostering deep connections and spiritual growth.
This event highlighted the dedication of Nigerian youth to their faith and their commitment to contributing to the vision of Cheon Il Guk. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of unity, education, and shared purpose in building a brighter future for Africa and beyond.
