From April 11 to 13, 2025, the West African sub-region joined the global Unificationist community in celebrating a series of monumental events aligned with the providential timetable set by our True Parents. These included the 2025 Hyojeong Cosmic Blessing, the Holy Wine Ceremony, the Holy Commitment Ceremony, and the much-anticipated Entrance Ceremony into Cheon Won Gung, Cheon Il Sanctum. Across countries like Ghana, Benin, Nigeria, Togo, Burkina Faso, DRC, and Zambia, members united both onsite and online to participate in these spiritually significant moments.

The Hyojeong Cosmic Blessing Ceremony held on April 12 stood out as a highlight, gathering hundreds of participants. In Benin alone, 89 Blessing candidates were recorded—35 second-generation, 44 first-generation (including six who participated from Korea), and five previously married couples. Ghana’s experience was a bit more bittersweet, as its only two first-generation candidates who had matched in Benin and Côte d’Ivoire were disqualified just a day before the ceremony. However, the spirit remained high, with one second-generation candidate participating onsite in Ghana and another from Korea. Several already-married couples also received the re-Blessing during the ceremony.

In preparation for the Blessing, a Holy Wine Ceremony was held on the same day. It saw 40 participants in Ghana and many more across Togo and Benin. This ritual served as a spiritual cleansing, giving members a chance to renew their hearts and start afresh centered on Heavenly Parent and True Parents. The ceremony brought deep reflection and heartfelt repentance among participants, creating an atmosphere of sincerity and renewal.

Also on April 12, six second-generation youth in Ghana took part in the Holy Commitment Ceremony following the Blessing. Officiated by True Mother, this ceremony symbolized a pledge to uphold purity and Heaven’s ideals in their future marriages. On the following day, April 13, communities gathered for celebratory banquets to mark the cosmic victories. In Godomey, Benin, and other national centers, over 670 people celebrated with food, music, testimonies, and thanksgiving, deepening the bonds among Blessed families.

The weekend culminated with the Cheon Won Gung Entrance Ceremony and Victory Celebration on April 13. Held online and streamed at national centers like the Katharina Stinard Training Centre in Ghana, the ceremony gathered 50 participants in Accra alone. This historic event marked the victorious entrance of True Parents into Cheon Il Sanctum and represented a new beginning for the global movement. The atmosphere throughout the weekend was deeply spiritual, joyful, and unifying—leaving members inspired, proud, and re-committed to Heaven’s providence.
