On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the spirit of unity and faith echoed across the African continent as 163 members tuned in for a powerful Continental Sunday Service. Though physically separated, participants were deeply connected in purpose and spirit as they gathered from their respective centres to attend this significant event via Zoom.
The service opened with a meaningful Hoondokhae reading, setting the tone with divine wisdom and guidance from the words of True Parents. Members reflected deeply on the message, using it as a lens to examine their spiritual journey and collective mission.
A musical performance followed, elevating the atmosphere and allowing members to offer their hearts through song. These moments of praise carried the energy of sincerity and unity, building a stronger spiritual connection among participants beyond the screen.
Another highlight of the service was a report on the major providential activities of April. This recap reminded everyone of how far the movement has come — the victories, challenges, and milestones that have shaped the current spiritual landscape. It was both humbling and empowering, helping everyone align their hearts with Heaven’s ongoing direction.
Finally, Rev. Jean Pierre Kadima, the Continental Director, delivered the day’s sermon. His message emphasized the importance of alignment with Heaven’s will, unity across nations, and the call for each leader and member to live with greater purpose, faith, and sacrificial heart. His words cut deep — a mix of encouragement and challenge — pushing everyone to reflect on their personal role in the providence.
More than just a Zoom meeting, this service was a continental communion — a moment to pause, reconnect with Heaven, and remember that as African members, we carry something powerful and sacred in the global providence.
