On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the spirit of unity came alive as 198 members from different nations across our West African region gathered online for a powerful Combined Regional Sunday Service. Though we were separated by borders, we were deeply connected in heart, purpose, and spirit — proving once again that God’s work knows no physical limits.
The service opened with an inspiring Hoondokhae reading, reminding everyone of the sacred words of our True Parents. This was followed by a vibrant musical offering that lifted the spiritual atmosphere and energized participants across the board. The sound of praise, even through screens, echoed the heart of joy and determination among our blessed families.
An exciting part of the gathering was the activity report segment, where nations within our region shared testimonies and highlights of recent activities. From outreach efforts to workshops and community service, it was clear: the fire of the mission is burning brightly in every corner of the region.
The climax of the service came with a deep, guiding sermon delivered by our Regional Director, Rev. George Ogurie. He poured out Heavenly wisdom, calling everyone to live lives rooted in God’s Principle, strengthen their families, and take personal ownership of the providence in their nations. His message was both a challenge and a call to action, pushing everyone to go beyond comfort zones and live for the greater good.
This service wasn’t just a Zoom call — it was a glimpse into what it means to be One Family Under God, united by vision, bonded by heart, and moving together toward national and regional restoration.
As the gathering ended, hearts were stirred, commitments were renewed, and members left inspired to continue building Heaven on Earth, starting from their local centers and homes.
