From June 13th to June 19th, 2025, the Cheon Shim Won prayer room in Benin remained spiritually vibrant as members gathered every day to participate in a week-long chain of heartfelt vigils. With 37 participants involved throughout the program, the atmosphere was steeped in sincerity, determination, and a deep longing to draw closer to Heaven.
Each evening, participants connected via Zoom to offer earnest devotions from their respective homes or local centers. Though separated by distance, their hearts were united as one. The spirit in the Cheon Shim Won room was intense, flowing with emotion and reverence, as each individual brought their burdens, dreams, and gratitude before the Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
The purpose of this sacred week was clear: to strengthen the life of faith of each participant. Through deep prayer and reflection, members sought inner renewal, clarity of purpose, and divine guidance in their personal lives and public responsibilities. The shared energy of communal devotion helped uplift the spirit of the entire region, reinforcing the belief that through consistent spiritual discipline, we can co-create with Heaven a world of peace and true love.
This vigil also served as a continuation of the Cheon Shim Won movement that has been growing steadily across West Africa. It was not just about numbers; it was about depth. The presence of even a few people sincerely connected to Heaven makes a powerful spiritual impact, and this week’s vigils proved just that.
As the week concluded, many participants testified to feeling lighter, more spiritually aware, and filled with new determination.
