
On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the Foyer BELANKOU in Calavi hosted a special dedication ceremony to celebrate the 8th day of BELANKOU Cheon-a Elénah Akwavi, a 3rd-generation child born on December 31, 2025. The joyous event brought together 30 participants, spanning all generations, to honor and welcome this precious new life into the community.

The ceremony was marked by a spirit of joy, celebration, and gratitude, reflecting the deep cultural and spiritual significance of welcoming a new generation. Parents Pascal BELANKOU and Sandra Ki-song received the support and blessings of family, friends, and community members during this meaningful occasion.

Also in attendance were the National Leader and select members of the national staff, further highlighting the importance of the event in the broader context of community and national heritage.
