On the evening of Friday, May 16, 2025, members across Nigeria came together online to participate in the Cheon Shim Won Vigil organized live from Korea. Though miles apart, our hearts beat as one in this deep spiritual experience, as 15 Nigerian members joined the vigil through Zoom to offer prayers of repentance, reflection, and renewal.
The Cheon Shim Won Vigil, known for its atmosphere of intense sincerity, once again served as a sacred space where members could lay down their burdens, reconnect with their original mind, and realign their hearts with Heavenly Parent and True Parents. The spirit of unity, even across digital platforms, was palpable. Prayers were lifted with tears, hearts were opened, and the determination to live for Heaven was rekindled.
As Unificationists, we understand that true transformation begins in the spirit. These vigils aren’t just symbolic—they’re active engagements with Heaven, where we make internal conditions for personal and national restoration. Every voice in prayer is a seed of hope planted for the future of our families, communities, and nation.
Even with a modest number of participants, the sincerity was deep and the atmosphere heavy with divine presence. Members shared afterward how uplifted and spiritually refreshed they felt—a testament to the power of collective prayer, no matter the scale.
We continue to encourage more brothers and sisters to participate in these holy moments, trusting that through constant spiritual effort, Nigeria can rise as a model nation within Heavenly Africa.
