From May 7 to May 12, 2025, the Cheon Shim Won (CSW) Centre in Kégué was once again ignited with divine energy and heartfelt devotion during the Shin Africa and West Africa Regional Vigil Week. Over the span of six sacred days, a total of 61 participants (comprising 31 dedicated CSW members and 30 non-CSW participants) united their hearts and prayers in this deeply spiritual condition.

This vigil wasn’t just a routine gathering; it was a continental communion of spirits, bringing together members from different backgrounds and levels of faith, but all centered on one purpose — to align more deeply with the heart of Heavenly Parent and True Parents. The Kégué Centre, acting as a spiritual lighthouse for the region, hosted daily sessions marked by Hoondokhae readings, intercessory prayers, and testimonies of faith.

Many of the non-CSW participants expressed their gratitude for being invited into such a powerful atmosphere, with some even making the decision to commit more seriously to their spiritual life moving forward.

“I didn’t expect to be so touched,” said one non-CSW participant. “This vigil opened something in me. I feel closer to God and to the community.”

These ongoing vigils are more than tradition — they’re training grounds for hearts, and serve as one of the most vital expressions of unity, discipline, and growth within the FFWPU framework in Africa.
